What it is
Three cuts from one husk
The husk is cut, not milled: fine at 2-8 mm, medium at 4-12 mm, coarse at 12-18 mm, each grade holding air the way pith alone cannot. Growers take coconut husk chips for orchids and anthuriums; keepers floor their vivaria with them; blenders fold them through mixes wherever drainage must be certain. The house supplies coco husk chips in bulk, washed or unwashed with the figure stated, and quotes coir chips wholesale in loose bags, bales or pressed blocks.
