What it is
The collar that becomes soil
A coir mulch mat is needled fibre felt cut as a disc or a roll: laid around a stem it shades weeds out, holds rain in the root zone, and slowly gives itself back to the ground. Unlike plastic sheet this is a biodegradable weed mat that breathes; rain, air and roots all pass, and there is nothing to lift or landfill when its work is done.
