Cocopeat Briquettes
The retail-shelf format: a small brick that swells to a bagful, pressed from the same washed pith as the blocks.
What it is
The brick behind the bag
A briquette is the 5 kg block scaled to the hand: the same washed low EC pith, pressed at 8:1 into a brick that opens to roughly 9-11 litres in a bucket of water. In coco brick wholesale the shelf makes the rules, so we press to the weights the shelf expects and wrap them to be picked up. The pith underneath is papered exactly as the blocks are.
- 650 g and 500 g are the house standards; 250-315 g bricks are pressed on request for kits and smaller formats.
- Pressed at 8:1; a 650 g brick re-wets to roughly 9-11 litres.
- Shrink-wrapped with or without a private label, ready for garden-centre and chain-store shelves.
- Supplied equally as coco coir briquettes in bulk: loose-packed by the carton, about 2,000 bricks to the pallet.
- The same washed low EC pith as the blocks: EC at or under 0.50 mS/cm at 1:1.5, stated per lot.
